Correction

Correction: a correction is made when there is an error in a deed. This error is corrected using a correction certificate.

Correction – Assignment: an act of correction used to rectify an assignment contract that contained an error (e.g. relating to a designation, appearance, clause…) and that was published in the Land Register. The purpose of this correction is to rectify an error in the assignment contract, which is then recorded in the land register.

Correction of Designation: this correction is made to a deed when the description of the property in question was incorrect. This description (designation) is rectified using a correction act.
