Giving in Payment
Giving in Payment: a means of extinguishing (cancelling) an obligation whereby the debtor gives the creditor (who must accept) something different than that which they had originally agreed on.
Voluntary Giving in Payment: a means of extinguishing (cancelling) an obligation in which the debtor voluntarily gives the creditor (who must accept) something different than that which they had originally agreed on.
