What is Ground footprint ?

Ground footprint  (expressed as a percentage) indicates the proportion of the land area occupied by the main building.

This metric helps verify compliance with urban planning standards and municipal regulations regarding building density and the preservation of open space on the lot.

  • JLR Calculation Method:  Ground footprint  is estimated by taking the total floor area published on the municipal assessment roll, dividing it by the number of stories, and then dividing that figure by the total lot area.
