There are two ways to order a deed in JLR
Option 1: Use the Request Deed/Index tab in JLR
This option can be used to get a deed for which you already have the transaction number in your possession.
1. In the left menu, click on Request deed/index.
2. Click on the Deed tab.
3. Select your Registration Division.
4. Choose the type of document you want to order, between deed or radiation.
5. Insert the transaction number.
6. If you click on View order history, you will be redirected in your Documents, directly in the Deed folder, where you will be able to find your previous orders.
7. Once all fields are filled, click on Next.
8. You will then have to pay $1 to complete your order .
9. Once the payment is completed, the deed will be sent directly into your documents within the next business hour of the Quebec Land Register. A notification will be sent to your e-mail address to let you know when your file is available for consultation.
Important : If you purchase your deed outside the designated business hours of the Land Register, than your document will be sent to you as soon as it reopens. Either way, JLR will notify you when your deed is available for consultation in your documents.
Option 2: Order directly from the property profile, by clicking the deed icon.
In the property profile, a deed can be consulted for each transaction registered.
1. If there is no ''$'' sign on the icon, it means that the deed is already available for consultation. Only click on the icon to read it.
2. If there's a ''$'' sign on the icon, then it means that you have to order the deed from the Quebec Land Register. You will then have to pay $1 to read it. Click on the icon to be redirected in the Request Deed/Index tab.
3. In the Request Deed/Index tab, you will notice tha tall the fields mentioned above will be automatically be filled to facilitate your purchase. Only click Next and accept the fees to get the deed from the Quebec Land Register.
